At the crest of a N-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 30m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 4.8-5.6m; int. H 0.6m at ESE to 1.2m at SSW; ext. H 0.75m at SSW to 1.4m at E and W) E-S-NW and by a scarp (H 1.4-1.75m) elsewhere, with an outer fosse (Wth of base 2.6-2.9m; D 0.2m at ESE to 0.9m at SW) SW-WNW and at ESE. There is no visible entrance.
