At the bottom of a S-facing slope, above the flat valley (Wth c. 100m) of the NE-SW Owenur River which had a ford (RO017-152----) here and c. 50m from the stream. Square grass-covered area (dims 29.7m N-S; 29.4m E-W) defined by slight earthen banks (Wth 6-6.5m; int. H 0.1-0.2m; ext. H 0.3-0.4m) at N and S, and slight fosses or moats (Wth of top 4.5-6m; D 0.1-0.3m) on all sides, but that at N is almost completely removed.
