On the NE-facing slope of a drumlin. Oval grass-covered area (dims 49m NW-SE; 38m NE-SW) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at S: Wth 3.8m; int. H 1.1m; ext. H 1.3m; at E: Wth 4.4m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.8m) which is incorporated into a field bank and hedge with an outer fosse re-cut as a drain (Wth of top 5m; Wth of base 2-2.5m; D 0.9m) E-SW, and elsewhere by a scarp (H 1.2-1.3m) and hedge. There are entrances at NE (Wth 3m) and S (Wth 2.5m), both of which could be modern. Rath (RO017-146----) is c. 50m to the SE. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
