On a shelf of a S-facing slope. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 51.8m N-S; 44.5m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 7-8m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.8m) SSW-W which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.2-1.9m) elsewhere, with an outer fosse (Wth of base 4.5m; D 0.5-1m) SW-W-NE and a berm (Wth 4m) defined by a scarp (H 0.7m) SE-SSW. There is no visible entrance, and the site is truncated by a N-S field bank at E.
