Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 45-50m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and as an arc of a bank (C c. 30m) NW-NE on the 1914 ed. Situated on a low rise in a low-lying landscape. Oval grass-covered platform (dims. 29m E-W; 20m N-S; H 1.4-1.8m) known locally as `the Rock', and known to cover rock-outcrop.
