What is recorded here

On a gentle E-facing slope of a drumlin. Circular overgrown area (diam. 38m E-W; 36m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at E: Wth 3.7m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 1.8m) and outer fosse (at E: Wth of top 3.6m; Wth of base 1m; D 0.6m) NE-S-SW, and by a scarp (H 0.9m) down to the interior elsewhere. A NE-SW field bank overlies the interior W of the centre. There is no visible entrance. Rath (RO017-103----) is c. 120m to the NE and rath (RO017-100----) is c. 220m to the NW. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
