On the crest at the E end of a low NW-SE drumlin ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 34m N-S; 32m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.3m at W to 5.6m at E; int. H 0.6m at W to 0.9m at N; ext. H 1.5m) and hedge ESE-W-ENE, with outer facing stones at W, which is reduced to an overgrown scarp (H 1.6m) ENE-ESE. There is an outer fosse (Wth of top 4.4-5.4m; Wth of base 1.6m at S to 2.4m at E; D 0.3m at S to 1.3m at W), the outer lip of which is hedged as a field boundary S-W-N. There is a widened entrance (Wth 6m) at SSE.
