Just off the crest on the gentle S-facing slope of a drumlin. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 50m N-S; 44m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at E: Wth 3.3m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.9m) NNE-SE, which is reduced to an overgrown scarp (H 1m) elsewhere and overlain by a later field wall NW-NNE. There is a complete outer fosse (Wth of top 4.6m; Wth of base 1.5m; D 0.3-0.5m), which has been extended into a pond (Wth 5.5m) S-WNW, but there is no visible entrance. Standing stone (RO017-202----) is c. 100m to the NW, and rath (RO017-102----) is c. 220m to the SE.
