On top of a low E-W ridge. Described as a circular area (diam. c. 35m E-W) defined by an earthen bank or scarp with a wide flat-bottomed fosse (Gannon 1972). It is now visible as a subcircular grass-covered area (dims 40.5m E-W; 36.5m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 0.3-1.1m) which is quarried at NE. Souterrain (RO017-073002-) is inside the perimeter at S.
