What is recorded here

On the N-facing slope of a slight WNW-ESE drumlin ridge at the W end. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 34m N-S; 30m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 5m at S to 6.4m at E; int. H 0.6m at W to 1.2m at E; ext. H 1m at E to 1.8m at W) NE-S-NW and a scarp (H 1.4m) elsewhere, with an outer fosse (Wth of top 5.2-5.4m; Wth of base 2.5-2.8m; D 0.2m at E to 0.6m at S) E-S-NW. A natural pond abuts the perimeter at NNW, and there is no visible entrance. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
