On the SE-facing slope of a drumlin. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 34m N-S; 30m E-W) defined by a low earthen bank (Wth 2.2-3m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.4m at N to 1.1m at E) WNW-E-S and by a carp (H 0.9m) and hedge elsewhere which acts as a field bank, with a complete outer fosse (Wth of top 3.8-6m; Wth of base 2m at N to 4.1m at E; D 0.3-0.5m) which is extended into a pond NW-E. There is no visible entrance. Rath (RO017-061----) is c. 100m to the NW, and rath (RO017-064001-) is c. 180m to the SE. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
