On a low rise in a low-lying landscape. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 32.5m N-S; 30.8m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5m at W to 6.3m at E; int H 0.25m at N to 0.95m at S; ext. H 1.3m at S to 1.6m at W) separated by a fosse (Wth of top 6-6.8m; Wth of base 4-4.7m; D 1.1-1.4m) from an outer bank (Wth 4.7-5.8m; ext. H 0.9-1.3m) with some bushes. There is an entrance (Wth 3m) through both banks at NE. Rath (RO017-054----) is c. 30m to the S.
