On top of a drumlin. Circular grass-covered but poached area (diam. 35m N-S; 35m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 4.7m at E to 6.5m at N; int. H 0.4m at W to 0.9m at E; ext. H 1.5m at W to 1.9m at N) NNW-E and S-W which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.4m) elsewhere, separated by a complete fosse (Wth of top 6.2-7.5m; Wth of base 3.5m at S to 5m at E; D 0.7m at S to 1.5m at E) from an outer bank (Wth 4.2m at S to 8.2m at N; ext. H 0.2m at E to 1m at N) E-W-N. There is a stone-lined entrance (Wth 2.5m) through the inner bank and causeway (Wth 3.5m) at ESE. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
