At the crest of a slight W-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 42.5m N-S; 40m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5m at W to 6.8m at E; int. H 0.5-1.3m; ext. H 2m) and hedge WSW-N-SSE which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.8m) elsewhere, and an outer fosse (Wth of base 2.2-3m; D 0.3-0.55m) SW-N-SE. There is no visible entrance. Rath (RO017-039----) is c. 60m to the E.
