On the crest of a low knoll. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 47.5m E-W; 40.5m N-S) defined by a grass and scrub-covered scarp (H 0.8m at E to 2.9m at N) with an entrance (Wth 5m) at E. The scarp is surrounded at its base by a berm (Wth 10-11.5m) defined by a scarp with bushes (H 0.3-0.6m) E-S-NW and there is a second outer berm (Wth 4.5-6.8m) defined by a scarp (H 0.3-0.6m) ESE-S-NW (max. ext. dims c. 90m NW-SE). Cashel (RO017-028002-) is immediately adjacent to the NE, overlying the outer perimeter.
