On the crest of the S-facing slope of an ENE-WSW drumlin ridge, towards the W end. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 35.5m N-S; 34m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at W: Wth 5m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 0.95m) WSW-NNW which is reduced to a scarp (H 1-1.1m) elsewhere, separated by a fosse (Wth of base 3-3.8m; D 0.8m) S-N-ESE from an overgrown outer bank (Wth 5-6.8m; int. H 1.3m; ext. H 0.5m-0.75m) S-W-NE and E-ESE. There is no visible entrance. Earthwork (RO017-025001-) and rath (RO017-025002-) are c. 130m and c. 160m to the NE.
