Towards the E end of a low E-W ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 28m E-W; 26m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 4.9m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.3m) at SSW and by a scarp (H 0.65m at S to 1.05m at E) elsewhere. This perimeter is separated by a fosse (Wth of top 4.2m; Wth of base 2.4-2.8m; D 0.1-0.4m) SE-W-N, which is visible as a band of wet ground (Wth 3m) NE-E, from an overgrown outer bank (at W: Wth 4m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 0.6m) SE-W-N. The original entrance is not identified. Rath (RO017-020----) is c. 60m to the WSW.
