On the crest of a low NE-SW ridge towards the NE end. Subcircular grass-covered but poached area (dims 26.5m N-S; 23.5m E-W) defined by a low, gapped earthen bank (Wth 3.5m; int. H 0.5-0.65m; ext. H 1.1-1.2m) S-W-NE, which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.5m) elsewhere, and an outer fosse (at W: Wth of top 2.5m; D 0.4m) SW-NNE. Externally, a NNW-SSE field bank at E and an ENE-WSW field bank at S have removed the fosse NE-W-SW. Rath (RO017-006----) is c. 160m to the W.
