At the crest of A N-facing slope, and marked on the 1837 and 1914 eds of the OS 6-inch map as a wooded enclosure. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 38m N-S; 35.4m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.5-2.8m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.8-1.2m) and outer rounded fosse (Wth of base 1.2-1.5m; D 0.2-0.4m) SW-N-NE and by N-S and E-W field banks and drains at E and S. There is no visible entrance but the interior has tree stumps and one tree survives on the bank at NW. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
