On a low rise. Circular overgrown area (diam. 33m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.3-4.6m; int. H 0.25-0.4m; ext. H 1.45m) which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.9m) ENE-SSE and SW-NW, and an outer fosse (Wth of base 4.2-6.3m; D 0.1-0.6m) which is crossed by a causeway (Wth 4.5m) at E, the original entrance. A field bank circumscribes the perimeter S-W. Rath (RO016-153001-) is c. 190m to the SE. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
