On a gentle S-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 27.8m E-W; 24m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 4.9m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.1m) ESE-S which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.4m at N to 1.5m at SW) elsewhere, and an outer fosse (Wth of base 3.5m; D 0.5m) SSW-W. The entrance (Wth 1.1m) is at SE.
