On the E-facing slope of a W-E spur. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 47m N-S) defined by a gapped earthen bank (Wth 2.85-3.3m; int. H 0.25-0.5m; ext. H 0.45-0.9m) SE-W-NNW which is reduced to a scarp with some bushes (H 0.9m) elsewhere, and traces of a complete outer fosse in a band of reeds. There is no visible entrance and some spoil obscures the perimeter at SW. Rath (RO016-099----) is c. 140m to the WSW, rath (RO072----) is c. 90m to the N and rath (RO016-073----) is c. 180m to the ENE. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
