On a low rise in a low-lying landscape. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 40.5m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.5m at S to 4.8m at N; int. H 0.2m at NE to 0.75m generally; ext. H 1.25m at S to 1.95m at N) NNW-E-WSW which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.4m) elsewhere, and a fosse (Wth of base 3.5m; D 0.5m) at SW, its line represented by a band of lush vegetation W-NE. The entrance is not identified, and a pond has been dug in the fosse at W. Rath (RO016-045----) is c. 90m to the N.
