What is recorded here

On a terrace overlooking lower ground immediately to the W and NW. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 33.5m N-S; 30.5m E-W) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 5.3m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.4m) at NW and SE-S, which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.8m at E to 1.4m at W) elsewhere. The entrance (Wth 3.25), partially revetted with stone, is at ENE. A rectangular house site (RO016-028002-) (dims 9.5m ENE-WSW; 7.5m NNW-SSE) defined by a slight scarp is at the centre. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
