Marked only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a slight E-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. c. 42m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.3-3.8m; int. H 0.2-0.8m; ext. H 0.6-0.8m) S-W-N and by a scarp (H 1m) elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or entrance, but the perimeter is circumvented by a farm lane S-W. The 'Cave' marked on the OS 6-inch map as inside the perimeter at S and described as artificial (OS Name Books) is undoubtedly a souterrain (RO015-037002-), but it cannot be seen now. Cashel (RO015-069001-) is c. 100m to the W.
