What is recorded here

On a level landscape. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 39m N-S; 32.5m E-W) defined by a gapped earthen bank (at E: Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.75m; generally: Wth 5.7-6.3m; int. H 0.65-1.05m; ext. H 1.9-2.2m) with internal stone-facing, and an outer fosse (Wth of base 4-4.5m; D 0.45-0.55m) E-S-NW. The stone-lined entrance (Wth 2.2m) is at E. The site is overlain by an E-W field wall towards the perimeter at N. Souterrain (RO015-012002-) is in the interior. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
