Marked only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a gentle N-facing slope towards the N end of a NW-SE ridge. Subrectangular or D-shaped grass and scrub-covered but poached area (dims 21.5m N-S; c. 20m E-W) defined by an overgrown but curving earthen bank (Wth 3.4m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1.9m) and outer field drain SE-SW, and a straight scarp (H 0.5m) at N. The straight sides at E and W are provided by field banks and drains.
