Marked as a circular embanked feature (ext. diam. c. 30m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and as a fragment of an arc on the 1914 ed. Situated on a gentle N-facing slope. An arc (C 18m) of an earthen bank (Wth 3.8m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.4m) survives SW-W. The 'Cave' marked on the 1837 and 1914 eds. of the OS 6-inch map may have been a souterrain (RO014-048002-), which is not visible at ground level and of which there is no record.
