At the crest of an E-W spur. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 42.5m N-S; 39.8m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3.4-4.5m; int. H 0.4-0.6m; ext. H 0.9-1.7m) SE-W-NNE, with a fosse (Wth of top 5.2-6.4m; Wth of base 2.5-2.7m; D 0.1-0.4m) SW-NNE, and by the fosse alone (Wth of top 8m; int. D 0.4m; ext. D 0.2m) NNE-SE. There is a modern entrance (Wth 2m) at NW, and a NNE-SSW field wall bisects the interior just E of the centre. Rath (RO014-027----) is c. 90m to the WNW.
