On a gentle S-facing slope of an E-W spur. Circular overgrown area (diam. 29m N-S; 28m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 4.1-4.3m; int. H 1.1-1.6m; ext. H 0.9-1m), and an outer fosse (Wth of base 2.8m; D 0.6m at N) SW-NNE. There is no visible entrance, and the outer edge of the fosse is overlain by a NNE-SSW field bank and townland boundary with Lissian at NW. Rath (RO014-013----) is c. 250m to the WNW along the ridge.
