On the N-facing slope of an E-W ridge. Oval grass-covered area (dims 45.4m NE-W; 34.4m NW-SE) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 4.1-4.9m; int. H 0.1-0.6m; ext. H 0.1-1.6m) which is best preserved (Wth 7m; int. H 1.2m; ext. H 2.1m) S-W, and an outer fosse (Wth of base 3.6m; D 0.5-0.8m) S-W-NNE. There are modernised entrances at W (Wth 2m) and E (Wth 2m). Rath (RO013-011----) is c. 220m to the W along the ridge.
