What is recorded here

On the N-facing slope of an E-W ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 44m N-S; 43m E-W) whose southern third is overgrown together with the adjacent defining features. It is defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4-5.8m; int. H 0.1-0.6m; ext. H 1-1.6m) separated by a fosse (Wth of top 7.3-7.7m; Wth of base 4.3-5.5m; ext. D 0.9-1.8m) from a second earthen bank (Wth 4.1-5.4m; ext. H 0.8-1m). There is an outer fosse (Wth of top 3.7-6.6m; Wth of base 2.1-3.2m; ext. D 0.8-1.1m) and a third outer bank (Wth 4.3m; ext. H 0.8-1.2m) NE-S-SW, but there is no visible entrance (max. surviving diam. 79m N-S; 77m E-W). Rath (RO013-012----) is c. 220m to the E along the ridge.
