Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 40m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and as a quarry (diam. c. 30m) on the 1914 ed. Situated at the crest of the NE-facing slope of a slight NW-SE ridge. Circular sunken area (diam. 29m N-S; 25m E-W; max. D 1m) with an earthen bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 0.4m) at S (L 6m).
