On a S-facing slope on a spur projecting SE from a drumlin. Circular area (diam. 31.5m E-W; 30m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.5-4m; int. H 0.2-0.7m; ext. H 0.7-1.4m) SSE-S and W-NNW, and a scarp (H 0.1m to 0.85m at S) elsewhere with an outer fosse (Wth of top 3.8m at W to 5.5m at N; D 0.1-0.7m) W-NNE. A NNW-SSE field bank overlies the monument towards the perimeter at NE, while a farm building occupies the interior and a modern entrance has been made at SSE. Rath (RO012-014----) is c. 200m to the N.
