On a N-facing slope. Revealed in monitoring (03E1374) a road project. A spread of broken and burnt stone with charred organic material (visible dims 8.5m x 4.5m) was revealed in a trench, with a small area of grey and red material (diam. c. 1m) nearby, which might be a hearth. It is preserved in situ beneath a lane. Burnt mound (RO011-165001-) is c. 7m to N. (Gannon 2004, 8, site 14)
