On the gentle S-facing slope of a broad low hill. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims c. 25m N-S; c. 25m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.3-4.8m; int. H 0.2-0.3m; ext. H 0.4m) W-N and a scarp (H 0.4m) N-E and SW-W, with an outer fosse (Wth of top 4.3-5m; D 0.3-0.45m) SW-W-NE. There is no identifiable original entrance, and the monument is truncated by a N-S field bank and drain at E and an E-W field bank and townland boundary with Dangan (King) at S, beyond which is a farm track. Rath (RO011-141001-) is c. 150m to the S.
