What is recorded here

Marked as a circular feature (diam. c. 35m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and as a rectangular area (dims c. 30m NE-SW; c. 20m NW-SE), probably the SE quadrant of a rath, on the 1914 ed. Situated on a low-lying, level landscape. Described as the SE fragment of an earthen bank and outer fosse (Gannon 1972), it is no longer visible at ground level in pasture.
