Marked as a circular embanked feature (ext. diam. c. 45m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and as a subrectangular feature on the 1914 ed. Situated on a NE-SW drumlin ridge. Rectangular grass-covered area (dims 38m NW-SE; 37m NE-SW) with a rounded corner at N defined by overgrown earthen banks (Wth 4m; int. H 0.4-0.7m; ext. H 1.2-1.7m), with outer fosses (Wth of base 2-3.1m; D 0.2-0.4m) on all sides except the NE. The entrance (Wth 4m) is at NE.
