On a shelf on a gentle SE-facing slope. Oval grass-covered area (dims 35m E-W; 27.1m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 0.95m at W to 1.65m at S) with an outer fosse (Wth of base 2-3m; D 0.2-0.9m) N-S-W, and an outer overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3-4m; int. H 0.2m at SW to 0.55m at S; ext. H 0.25m at SW to 1.65m at S) SE-SW. The entrance to souterrain (RO011-072002-) is just W of the centre, and there is a modern causeway entrance at SE, while a shed is built into the perimeter at E.
