On a slight rise in a low-lying landscape. Circular grass-covered area (diam. c. 30m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.5-4m; int. H 0.3-0.6m; ext. H 1.2-1.4m) incorporated into a field bank and hedge W-N-S, with an outer fosse (Wth of base 2m; D 0.3-0.4m) at NW which is visible as a band of rushes (Wth 4m) at E. There is no visible entrance and the perimeter cannot be traced S-W. Rath (RO011-069----) is c. 170m to the NNE.
