Marked as a D-shaped enclosure (dims c. 40m NE-SW; c. 40m NW-SE) truncated by a NE-SW field bank at NW only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Situated on a gentle NW-facing slope with the River Shannon, c. 200m to the E. Rectangular grass-covered area (dims 36.5m NE-SW; 35m NW-SE) defined by a field bank at NW and scarps (H 0.2-0.4m) elsewhere. Rath (RO011-051----) is c. 150m to the S.
