On top of a drumlin. Oval grass-covered area which remains unplanted in a coniferous forest (dims 35m N-S; 28.5m E-W) defined by a gapped and overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3.6-3.9m; int. H 0.3-0.6m; ext. H 0.85m at W to 1.45m at N) N-E-W and a scarp (H 0.4m) elsewhere, with an outer fosse (Wth of base 2-3m; D 0.25-0.4m) SW-N-SE and an outer earthen bank (Wth 3.4; int. H 1-1.1m; ext. H 0.25m) SW-NW. There is no identifiable original entrance.
