On top of a small drumlin. Subcircular grass-covered area (diam. 37m E-W; 31m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 0.6m at NE to 1.4m at S) NE-S and an earthen bank (Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.3-0.5m; ext. H 1.3m) and fosse (Wth of base 2.7m; D 0.1m) SW-W, the bank being incorporated into a field bank W-N. There is no identifiable original entrance. Rath (RO011-014001-) is immediately to the NW.
