Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 50m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a slight rise in a low-lying landscape. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 31m WNW-ESE; c. 10m NNE-SSW) defined by a fosse (Wth of top 4.5m; Wth of base 3.5m; int. D 0.2-0.7m) and outer bank (Wth 5m; ext. H 0.3-0.4m) NW-E. There is no visible entrance and the site is truncated at S by a WNW-ESE railway line. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
