On a N-facing slope. Oval grass and rush-covered area (dims 32m N-S; 21.5m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at W: Wth 2.2m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.1m; at S: Wth 3.6m; int. H 1.8m; ext. H 1.3m). There are modern entrances at NE and SSW and material may have been taken from the interior. There is no visible fosse, but the perimeter is surrounded by a drain (Wth 1.5-2m; D 0.5-0.7m).
