On a low rise. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 23.5m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.5m at W to 5.9m at N; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.2m generally to 1.6m at N) S-W-NNE, which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.35-1.6m) eslewhere, and an outer fosse (Wth of top 6.8m; Wth of base 4.3m; D 0.3m) S-W continued by a berm (Wth 4m) W-NE. There is no identifiable original entrance.
