On a slight rise in a low-lying landscape with a S-N stream or drain c. 80m to the E. Oval grass-covered area (dims 38m E-W; 30m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.7m at N to 6.2m at E; int. H 0.55m; ext. H 1.55m) W-N-ESE, which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.1m) elsewhere, and a complete outer fosse (Wth 2.5-3.4m; D 0.45-0.7m) which is crossed by a causeway (Wth 4m) at WNW. The monument is cut by an E-W drain and hedge towards the perimeter at S.
