At the NE end of a low NE-SW ridge. Circular grass and rush-covered area (diam. 34.5m N-S; 33.5m E-W) defined by a gapped earthen bank (Wth 3-3.6m; int. H 0.2-0.45m; ext. H 0.55-0.8m), with an outer fosse (Wth of top 3m; Wth of base 2-2.5m; D 0.2m) S-W. There is no identifiable original entrance, but an ENE-WSW field bank and drain overlie the monument towards the perimeter at N.
