In Cavetown Lough (dims. c. 1.5 km E-W; c. 300-700m N-S), at the narrower E end c. 20m from the E shore and c. 50m from the N shore. Circular overgrown island (diam. 30m; H 1m at W to 1.8m at N) composed of earth and stones with two partly submerged wooden posts revetting the perimeter at ENE. Crannog (RO010-035----) is c. 60m to the SSE, and Ballynahoogh castle (RO010-033----) is c. 150m to the NE on the shore.
