Located at the E end of an E-W ridge. This is an oval area (dims 39m E-W; 31.7m N-S) defined by scarps (H 0.4m at W to 0.7m at N), which are greatest (H 1-c. 2m) E-S-W where the natural slope is steepest. There is no visible fosse and a ramp entrance (Wth of base 1.5m) at ENE could be original. The monument is bisected by a N-S field bank with a drain on the E side, and the W part is grass-covered while the E side is planted in a mature coniferous forest.
